Should I much weep and cry o'er thee tonight?

Should I much weep and cry o'er thee tonight? This blessed lonely night of mortal pain for having seen thine eyes by moonlight twinkle bright and heard our vows that love won't die in vain, along with whispers of instinctive lust as you did lean to offer truth to me; for having felt so strong loves eerie gust into a maenad's crazed dance did I lead thee. Why should I then not woe, my only lover? But I watched you thyself just give away, disperse the buds it took us so long to gather and attar from your heart I'll smell no other day. For still 'tis night - at last can I now clearly see that your sweet love was meant not for me - but thee! 5.5.1987, dedicated from A.K. to A.K.
